Manual Leather shifter boot for VT V6

I am after a leather boot for a manual shifter VT V6. Holden dont stock them any more (VT-VY all the same item now), apparently the V8 wont fit due to the V8's being "Short Shifters" (which i find hard to believe....). If anyone has one it will save me going to an auto trimmer.

Mate I went through the same thing not that long ago. The Parts manager at my local holden told me there was a different part number for the SS and all other manual VT S2 commo boots both 8 and 6. The SS was around the $80 and the other one was $36. I told him to order both, and guess what they were exactly the same except for the part number only at less than half the price. BTW I only bought it about 6 months ago so there are some getting around. It came with the plastic ring too.
