Please don't turn this into a I do or don't like them.

From what I understand there may be some fake grilles on the market. Is this is true? If i was to buy from ebay, how are you certain it is a genuine item? What can you ask the seller to check its validity?

Think mine was $85 with the rear badge from Holden, rare spare have them listed for $295.00

Genuine ones have a GM stamp moulded in the back of the grille. Facks are generally fibreglass too, not plastic like genuine.
Genuine ones aren't $60 either, just so you know. They're a bit over a hundred from memory. Part number is 92173169.
