Hi guys,

today i embarked on changing the engine mount on the vy ss....with much pain and a wide choice of words, also decided to give it a new belt. started her up and the car idled as though it was bout to choke to death...had a look under the bonnett i noticed the pipe attached on top of the rocker cover and going into the throttle body was snapped.....what is it? and is the cause of my shake and choke?

cheers ed

my guess that would be your oil pressure releif or PVC hose going back to the T/B to ingest the oil vapour produced from the sump.
It will make the car idle rough as it is now sucking in unmetred air (Not going through maf) therefore running lean
