Best place to sit @ Eastern Creek

Hi All

I am planning to go to the V8 race at EC next Sunday.

Does anyone know where (in the general admission area) the best place to sit is?

Also, is there somewhere (asside from at the tracK) that tickets can be bought?

If I'm spectating (which is pretty rare) I like to sit up on the hill behind the startline. Not the best place for photo's but you get a great view of who won and what how much out of shape the cars get down the track. Whoever reckons that drag racing is jst a matter of going in a straight line has never seen the really quick cars run.:driving:

blownvn, i think he's talking about the V8 Supercar race on at EC this weekend. Not the off street drags. In that case the cars go in the opposite direction to when they're in drags.

Sit anywhere on the pit straight hill. Its a pretty big hill, so you can see a huge amount of the track.

not the hill with that self igniting gas etc coming out of it they had on TV. all the rubbish they buried under there.

Yeah thats the hill. I gotta drive round the back of the Creek everyday to get to work. In the morning is when its the worst. You can just see all these gasses coming out of the hill. All the waste internally combusting inside. Its gonna collapse one day for sure.
