Insurance?

It's renewal time again (renewals due for both bikes at the same time grrr:soap: ) and I've been doing the 'ol ring around of the known insurers. Was with BikeGuard up until now but they have either gone belly up or decided to get out of insuring bikes. Some quotes I received (home garaged 2006 ZX6R 32yo rider with Rating 1)

QBE $506 with $500 trackday excess

Insuremyride $491 (online only)

RAC (WA) $1010 :confused:

Swann $743 and that wasnt even for full comp

Shannons - why did I bother - $1043

Anyone know of any others? I think I will pull the trigger on the QBE one as they offer some coverage for trackdays and seem to be more tolerant of mods than the others.

I use insuremyride just for theft. expensive though I thought @ $550 a year! $491 for you seems a good price, is that full comp?

It was full comp but that was excluding $2K cover for my leathers.

In the end I decided to run with QBE because they offer trackday cover and don't seem to get too shitty about aftermarket mods like exhausts, rearsets etc.

Im with ebike good price full comp and gear and 24hr break down service $400.00 my age might have somthing to do with it but im an old fart cheers mark.
