getting a big cam

people help me choose a massive cam for my ls1 i want it to be stupidly loud and rough i got no idea on what sort to get

go to you tube
type in thumpr cam, they are a comp cam and very aggressive.

then go to comp cams for spec's

Mate its been covered a 100 times before just do a seach and have hours if not days of reading.
also you might what to talk to some of the sponsors so they can help you get what your after.

Yes do a search first and you will have at least 3 days reading.

GM Motorsports TK cam will get you loud and lumpy. Go on YouTube and type in Megadeath cam or Thumper Cam.

However you can get small cams to be loud and lumpy. Put them on a tight LSA and you will get a nice chop.

Also do you care about fuel economy and driveability? What stall and diff gears are you running?

For the big cams you will need 3.73, or 3.91 gears with a 4000 converter to get them driving nice.

Just my opinion but do some research before making your choice.

Just remember that a big cam causes a loss of vacuum. This can affect the operation of your brake booster & climate control.
Make sure you research all the pro's & con's when making your decision.
