gday,
rained big time today, and noticed my head liner on the right hand side was soaked, no widnows down or nothing, and its above that anyway... never had a new car leak before.... booked it in to be looked at on friday, but thought id post here to see if anyone else has had this happen?
left hand exhaust also fell off its hanger! so shes not holding together too well at the moment!
cheers

Holden have a bulletin on this. Some early VE ute's were a bit lax on a smear of sealant.

There is a gap where the windscreen sealant wasn't put on properly at the factory and it is letting in water. I had this problem with the VTSS I owned years ago.

my dealer replaced the rubber seal in my VY as it leaked on a massively heavy rain day
Take it back to the dealer.. warranted item? considering there's a bulletin. The only way to fix it is to pushing out the window breaking the glass..and get it replaced. Either get them to do it or check to see if your insurance policy has free window protection like GIO . had mine fixed in under 24hrs

Mate my sunroof leaked and I ended up with a water stain in the roof lining. The entire roof lining was removed and replaced.

Rann told the yanks to let one through to fill the Torrens. Don't worry, it wont rain much again until climate change is completed.

Hi guys , Plenty of rain in Coffs today , my ute (sv6) was parked outside at work all day . When I jumped in , water started dripping on my forearm . The headliner behind me was soaked and the water seamed to be running down the pillar and coming out where the liner has a seam. Any idea where water could be entering in that area?
