I recently got my windows tinted on my car GU patrol and I am not completly happy with the job and not sure if I was being to fussy they have redone 4 out of 10 windows as they had gaps on the edges uo to 1.5cm width and some were peelong off after 1 day, but my rear pasenger window the small quarter one has 2 gaps where if in the car you can see light come through they are about 8cm long by 2ml wide is this normal. My friend has the exact car and got it done by the same people and doesn't have this problem and the guy at the tinting place says that is acceptable and nothing he can do about it. And on the rear barn doors someone has welded without covering the glass and left stuff on the windows and they just tinted over it without letting me know and it looks crap from the outside heaps of bubbles which I know there is nothing you can do about that but they should have let me know before and I could have tried to do something about it.

Yeah there is sonmething they can do about it they can do it again! Sounds like a home bodge job done by a bunch of teenagers trying to do their sik pulsar!
I would bring your mates truck alon and show him what bench mark you were expecting and then show them yours on what they delivered and tell them its not good enough.

Nah, that's not up to standard. Have u already paid the bill? If not, I'd withhold payment until it was satisfactory. Or if you've already paid and they won't redo it, I'd be heading to the disputes tribunal. Take heaps of photos. Write letters and keep copies. Is it a professional outfit? Or some dude working out of a van?!!

Thanks for your feedback I have already paid the bill as it was a professional place and has been running for some time so I didn't think it would have a problem and I have had 4 cars done in the past at a different place and had no dramas. I will be going back to top tint in mornington and asking them to fix it then will see what happens They have had the car now 2 times its a bit annoying having no car for one day but 3 days pisses me off. and its a 15 min drive so the cost of fuel and putting people out to come get me I was thinking of asking them to take it all off and get my money back and go to a different place but they were a little rude when I asked them to fix it so I don't think they will be overly impressed if I did that!
