I am trying to fit a tow bar to a VX sedan. In trying to remove the rear bumper/skirt I am stuck in getting to whats holding it all together in front of and under the tail lights. Also unable to remove the tail lights readily to get a look at what is holding it all together. Any assistance would be gratefully received!

The taillights are even easier,Take the two screws out and the front bit of the lights(on the side of the car) just pulls out.

don't need to remove the tailights.
2 or 3 screws down each wheel arch outside.
2 screws or clips (car just did had screw but it had a fibreglass bar) on the inside of the boot on the side, you have to pull the carpet back to get to them.
bunch of little plastic screws along the back just under the boot rubber holding the middle of the bar on.
plastic ones have to pull the sides to unclip after that, fibreglass have already fallen off
