Does anyone know a rough price to get a simple leather retrim for a VY SS?
I have my eye on a 2002 VY SS but it only has cloth seats.
What sort of price would someone pay for a 2002 VYSS with 67,000kms on it. 3.9 Diff Gears, Rip shifter, Genuine HSV brakes, subtle stereo (speakers, sub + amp), mesh style 19s and November rego? No leather. Red in colour. No exhaust/engine mods.
Also; Anyone with cloth seats with the red trim - Could I please get some photos of what the seats and trim look like - Just want to see if it looks tacky or not. I already tried Google and only found a few with the red.
Cheers

there some pics of my SSV re done in full red leather... just right click my id and view my home page... leather would look good long as its done properly and a person with skill depends on the quality of leather and how much ur willing to pay... 3k is the average for a basic retrim

That re-trim looks great!! I don't think I could fork out 3k for a re-trim. I'd either have to live with cloth or wait for one with leather.
Has anyone ever tried those custom made leather seat covers on ebay? From the photos they don't look too bad...

Around 3k for full leather trim. Blackman and Sons (vic - http://www.blackmanandsons.com.au/) have quoted me 2k or so and they do a lot of work for dealers and a good job, so i've been told.

Blackmans in Richmond(vic) do excellent work.We constantly use them through work.
Both quality and service are top notch.

Keep searching the forums mate, i remember seeing somone selling the full set (inc door trims) for black leather for $1500 in mint cond (apparently) a couple of months back...
Although its origins could be questionable, defo worth a look... Happy hunting..
Anyone got experience with Reborn leather retrims?.. I see you can get this much cheaper than the normal leather. Anybody?
