i had my throttle body off the other day and was thinking about how to make it better more flowing and i thought i could port it right out, and than make a new flap to fit the larger dia hole as loong as it was a perfect circle and there was no gaps in it , it would work just like a larger throttle body ,
any ideas?

Are the alloytec's electronic throttle? If so, i would probably give it a miss. Especially if it is an auto, as it will screw with your shift times.

the butterfly isn't actually a circle it's an oval the butterfly seals at a slight angle to get a better seal and to stop it being able to blow open. this means for it to seal properly you need to cut a angle not straight cut along the edge or it wont seal. good luck doing a back yard job.
that said the stock throttlebody is 70mm the performence manfiolds ute has no trouble rolling off 240rwkws with the stock throttle body i'd say it's hardly a restriction on your car.
