How much horsepower are you making or planning to make?

They don't really give a power gain per se mate, they are usually combined with another form of power gaining such as forced induction or increased performance by way of cam, head changes, stroking etc that increase the engines performance to the point that it will usually require a greater amount of fuel, their installation is usually accompanied by another fuel pump or two and some kind of sruge tank / cell.
If you wanna do it with future upgrades in mind then theres a few brands around, ****ed if I remember them off the top of my head though.
Their installation is usually done out of requirement and necessity mate, not because they add anything to the on road / track performance or dyno sheet.

The Bosch 36lb ones from the supercharged 6 are a common upgrade. Dpending on power levels is when you upgrade them. I do recall a post last year saying they had done testing on std ones to run them close to 100% duty cycle and have better results than upgrading, still the lifespan of them would lessen.

Until you go FI or heads/big cam Id sit tight on standard ones

General rule of thumb is if you are making over 250rwkw an injector upgrade would be worthwhile for safety and control.

yeah cool i already have a cam and head upgrade and pacemaker headers which is pulling 287kw is it worth the 2-$300 or should i just keep standard ones (if there is no power gains or other benefits might just keep it as is)

In my experience the stock injectors will serve you well till 300rwkw ( A real 300rwkw ) , Performance gains on 11.1 second full weight 291rwkw cam only after upgrading were minus zero..ie..I went backwards,.. still cannot complain as I was well and truly forewarned about this phenomenon , but like many folk here ( bowed to Forum *wisdom* and insisted the upgrade be done ) ...nowdays I let my tuner decide whats required :1peek:..lesson learnt.

There is a damn good reason for this ,but only truly understood by those who have done some serious homework on the subject..
