Hi all, could somebody run through the differences in the standard suspension between VE Omega, SV6, Berlina, Calais and SS? I have a 60th anniversary Omega with 18 inch alloys and potenzas and am curious to see what the best mods are to the factory set up, maybe lower a bit and shockers/struts.
Thanks in advance
Tony

ve omega, berlina and calias has stock standard springs and dampers.
Sv6, ss, ssv has fe2 (lower springs by about 10mm and firmer dampers.
ve calias v has fe1.5 which is half way between stock and fe2.
Thats pretty much it you have stock suspension on your 60th.

So then, what do i have to do to lower by 20 or 25 mm?

Kings Springs Super Low will get you about 20 to 25mm From standard height but i think the Super,Super lows are the way to go they drop 30-35mm very popular spring many ve owners have these on with no issues.
Pretty sure both the VE Calais and VE Calais V are FE1.5. FE2 is an option on both though.
Initially, both were sold with FE2 as standard... Holden should have left it that way IMO.
