Trying to convert a friend that is about to buy a new car, was telling him about the deals before Christmas, SS for 40K. Got him a bit excited. So I am asking who out ther is doing deals.

My understanding Ian is that the deals are nowhere near as good now as they were in Dec 08 when Holden were trying to seriously reduce their inventory. For similar money now you look to be able to only get demos with a few thousand kms on them and/or in unpopular colours like Crunch.

going by the holden website the options i got standard you now have to pay for.the price is quite a few thousand dollars more as well.

if your lookjing for good deals on them, alot of people have taken loans on cars they can no longer repay!, go to the auctions and snap up something for dirt cheap, got a friend who works in the auctions baught his ve ss for 29,000 with 3,000 k's, (works at pickles)
