Cammed and slammed VZ

Hey everyone thought i'd chuck my ute up, 05 VZ SS absolutely love it. Bought it after selling my VY SS.

6spd
Upgraded cam (Nice and lumpy)
Valve springs
K&N cold air intake
HSV Brakes
20" Ferreti Palermos and a spare set of 20" Sproza (which im selling)
4-1 Pacemaker Extractors
2.5" High flow cats
2.5" X-Force Exhaust with rear Hotdogs
Thunder cover
Lowered with Pedders springs and shocks

Dyno tune came out at 378.5rwhp, the tune is a little dodgy so im going to get it re done by a well recomended bloke so hopefully after that it'll be a little more.

There's still more i want to add to that list but its all about money, Rear bags will probably be the next on the seen, anyway heres a few ofr now, im sure to keep it updated along the way.

Great looking ute mate bet it goes but man i have to say the wheels are :spew::spew::spew: .Thats only my opinion though. Good luck with the future plans.

Im not a fan of chromies either but I think they look wicked on this ute for sure.

Oh well gezz thanks for the.... replys lol, yea everyone to there own, I love th rims i've become to attached to them they were to hard to get hold of when i wanted them, I've got another set of 20's that are in the garage i'll have to put some photos up of it with them on maybe i could get some positive feed back lol

Im not to positive on the spec as it was in the ute when i got it, and it was one of those shops were " its there secert spec" and dont tell anyone pfff personally if i got it done i would want to know the lot. But going on the sound and running of the motor its ruffly around the 228/230 not sure on the lsa either 110 or 112 mark dont hold me to that though, but take my word its horny when you hear it.

the tune was done when the cam work was done, MCE did the upgrade but there's a bloke down my way that a few ppl have recommend and he has done wonders with there cars so i'll hit him up when i get the cash.

I thought those rims were horrible, then I had a look at the original
post and can see why you changed. Sell both and buy some nice
rims, other than that your car looks good.

+1.. I dont like either of those wheels.. Just get something chrome and simple.. They are too busy.. The other ones look like a shiny diamond or something for those who wear DUB badges.. Too blinggy..

Yea the 4>1's do hang pretty low but there not normally the problem, its the cat back part of the exhaust that dangles so low to the ground, but the problem is getting solved as it's in getting rear air bag set up :) stoked!

Yea im a big fan of the VY GTS wheels as well, but i cant see my self going and buying a set anytime soon, next thing to do is the clutch as thats on the way out :( what recommendations would anyone make as to what type of clutch to go for?

dont mind the chrome rims, but those ones with the black inserts are pus. the first ones look different, not many ppl have them. looks good that low too

Agree that verdi kaos and madonnas are sweet as... The work was done by MCE, although the previous owner did it i just reap the rewards now lol.

not everybody wants to have vy gts rims on, some ppl want their cars to be different, mate i reckon keep the chromies u got on,
the other rims u had on arent the best.
just keep it as it is mate, looks good!!

I know what your saying mate, VY gts rims are nice but i bought these rims for a reason.. to have some thing different. Imagine if every car had the same sort of rims on. It'd be a little boring.

hey mate, unfortunatley i dont have those springs in any more i finally got airbags put in :) so i couldnt give you a measurement.... So if anyone local wants some springs that have been in about a week in total give us a message.

I'll get some photos up of the setup once i get around to taking some.

Just an update on the ute and a few new photos, The rear air bags have been installed and been in a while now and are unreal, great job done by Beau from Down Under Customs, best money ive ever spent on any of my cars in my eyes. Also thought i'd update the specs list for the ute to.

Yea you can drive it like that but i wouldn't go doing any fast speed just slow cruising is fine, but i normally drive it just a little higher with about 20 to 23 psi so it's still bloody low when it gets driven around. Beau from Down Under Customs did for $1800. Highly recommend the bloke, awsome to deal with.

Yea the photo's turned out quite good i was impressed with my little digi camera. well i was selling because i needed the money, as that seems to be what most things revolve around, but now i dont have to :( and its already found a new owner. So that just means i'll have to get something better now so i dont miss not having it :)
