There's a Crane one for sale in the classies for $175, does both springs together.

I haven't seen the Ad Shep but the crane one I have won't work on an L92 head due to the different bolt spacing. Does the ad specify its for L92's or just that its a Crane jobbie.

If its a LS1 Crane tool, it just requires is a little grinding to elongate the side bolt hole, scollop a little with the grinder in the middle and it will work for any LSx engine. Did it 2 days ago and works a treat.

After the resposes here, I went about it with my Blue Point screw down type.

Big job doing the pass rear cylinders but after 4 hours they're all in.
My advice to someone in the same boat, Dont use the screw down Blue Point/Snap on type compressor. Unless youve got heaps of spare skin on your hands and arms, And you have double jointed wrists.

Hahaha they are bitches to use one duals. I just found i had to make sure the compressor was dead in the center or the thing would bend the compressor and fly off. Also had to be careful that i didn't damage the seals, or flick the compressing spring off the seal. :goodjob:
