I believe it will be the hand brake shoes on the rear. My old SS had a similar sound and a clean and adjust solved the problem.
Let us know how it goes.

:yup: picked it like a broken nose Snapper. :goodjob:
Clean and adjust or "anti-scrape kit" available from Holden should sort it out.

It might not be the handbrake, mine does the same thing, it comes from the front right wheel and stops as soon as you put any pressure on the brakes, i've tryed new pads and rotors, it helped for a couple of days put then it came back, its sometimes really bad and sometimes not at all, still hav'nt found a solution to it yet? It also started to scrape from the hand brake too so now i've got two scraping noises sometimes, very annoying.

Is the sound constant as the wheel turns or only evident for part of the rotation (ends up sounding something like: shh shh shh). If it's the latter, it will be the handbrake. Multiple adjustments to the handbrake on my VT never fixed it and my BA does the bloody same thing. Try the anti scrape kit mentioned if it sounds like the handbrake.
