VX Commodore Details

Gday guys, hope you can help me.
My mum recently got divorced and got the VX Commodore in the settlement. Now the problem is I have no idea what model it is because the wanker put SV8 badges on it and mum cant recall what it was. I have the details from the compliance plate but dont know where to research.

Details:

Any help would be appreciated.

By the looks of things Its a VX exec, M6 with standard Diff(non lsd) and Std suspension.

Well its an automatic, colour coded moulds and has factory alloys.... he reckons it was close enough to being an SV8 so he put those badges on it.

Have a look in the handbook/service manual. I think there is a breakdown of what the VIN means, which should give you the info that you need. Be aware that many vt-vx's are actually lower spec than their bodykit suggests, as many people do kits on those model cars.

Thanks guys, mum is selling it as soon as we figure out what it is.... I almost advertised it as an SV8.... I'm a Ford man so I don't know the difference between all the models :)

Its a VX Exec LS1. SV8 didn't exist in VX.
