WTB VT V8 series 1 Auto trans?

Got a mate at work who has killed his and looking for a replacement. Been quoted $2500 for a reco one locally, and thought we might try here first. Anyone able to help?

pretty sure all boxes are the same from vs-vy in both v6 and v8

Hey,

i have a 4l60e from a supercharged v6.

you would need to swap input shaft, bell housing and converter over to it from the blown box.

i will sell no converter for $500 (its from a VT also, in good nick, run its whole life on a stock car with a very big transmission cooler).
