I love that style of rim on utes.
Actually, utes look good in nearly any sort of wheel.

Those rims will looks good (personal favourite of mine and Darkrayne seems to like them too!) but I think you might be a tad disappointed if you don't go 20 inch. Rims with a design like these (where the centre design goes to a lip rather than the very edge of the rim (eg like the VX GTS, VE GTS rims etc) tend to look a bit smaller than they really just as the examples I gave often look bigger than they really are. For this reason I think you should go with 20inch Speedy Cheetahs. You can also get them in 10inch wide for the rear and fit a decent set of 275 (or bigger) wide tyres on the rear. For my money, no point putting on the same size rim (in both diameter and width) as factory.
Dad's (previously mine) VZSS with 19 speedy cheetahs - which are perfect on a VZ but too small for a VE. Notice how they can almost be mistaken for 18inch rims? I was having a dig at him with the add-ons!

A rim with a design like the below tends to look bigger:
So with the mesh design rims (Cheetahs) you have to go as big as possible.

They don't look that small in the flesh. The rear tyre is pretty wide too.

i saw a lowered red ve ute not long ago that had 20" cheetahs but had black centres with a polished lip (parked so i had a good sticky) i never thought black would look anygood on a red car but the bigger diameter looks really nice . thinking about going that way with my ute (voodoo)

The Cheetahs in hyper-silver with the polished rim look fantastic - I have the same on my SSV and love them, and when I got mine, you couldn't get the 20" wheels in the hyper-silver finish - things might have changed in the last year or so.
And $1100 for five is a steal - they are normally around $350 each!
A problem with the 20x10 on the rear will be fouling on the guards for sure what with the staggered option by Speedy. I went with 19x9.5 on the rears and have (for now) retained the OEM 19" tyre but it will be touch and go as to whether I have to roll the guards when I fit a wider tyre. Having read some experiences on here about VE guards being dimpled after rolling is a concern.
In any case, a great wheel and choice - good luck with it.

i would suggest a different style of rim, b/c many cars these days have this style...
Deep dish definitely 20" on VE is most appropriate as it fills out comfortably...
I think Deep Dish--i will try to send you some pics of good ones..

There would, but I only know how to do it through images.cainer.net and the web says this domain is currently 'parked' - whatever that means.
Maybe PM me your e-mail address and I can send you a few that way?

I reckon they look fantastic on Darkrayne's car in staggered fit!

I would definitely go 20s even if it meant missing out on a bargain now, staggered 20s if possible. Even I, who would never go 22s as I think they look too big, occasionally look at my 20s now and think they look small!
I think if you only go 19s you'll eventually regret it. :(

That looks fantastic!
Clearly the 20" staggered version fits inside the rears and now seeing this can be done I agree with Wonky - I'd be interested to know if the guards needed rolling as I suspect they might.
Vulture is also right, the Cheetah looks smaller than another wheel of the same size because the spokes don't smooth into the rim's edge, but rather the rim gives the spokes a frame and this gives appearance of the wheel being smaller.
In any case, as I said earlier, I have the 19's and think they look pretty sweet but as Wonky alludes, whilst I don't regret going with the 19's over the 20's, I do often wonder how much better a 20's might look.

I love 20" on the VE's if you can pay the extra cash you wont look back

My rule of thumb is...
VT-VZ = 20" rims
VE = 22" rims ......or 20" in staggered fitment with a nice dish at the rear.

Except as discussed before on here 22s on a VE are illegal so if you have an accident you open the door to your insurance company wiping your claim. :( Besides, if he can't really afford 20s then he certainly won't be able to afford 22s!
