Last week my alt / P Steering belt broke.
(Used to call em fan belts)

Anyway, it broke and as luck had it, was only round the corner from home when it happened.
So no drama. Grab the other car and go buy a replacement.
Fit the new belt and all is good.... well maybe.

I've noticed now that when I WOT from the start, I get this strange sorta
quite minor (barely noticeable) vibration from the front pass side of car.
It only lasts for a second or two.
Now don't larf.... but the car also seems to punch away from the start a lot harder!!

So I'm just not sure what sorta damage (if any) may have been caused by the fan belt when it came adrift.

Anyone had sumthin similar??

After your SS inductions stuff from some time ago ... nothing sounds weird! :stick: :nyuk: :)

Can't help with the vibration or "punch" thing but ... did you check the wires to the IAT sensor?

The IAT sensor wires are prone to copping a flogging if the serpentine belt freys or flies off.

Might be worth checking ... the other stuff you mention though =
