modifying chev number plate surounders

hey i bought a set of chev number plate surrounders when i was in the u.s.a the prob is theyre a different size to our plates were could i take the to get them modified to fit theyre to big and will need to be re cromed....after modfying....http://i43.tinypic.com/xc3dk9.jpg

your best bet is to get a licence plate that is the same (or similar) size to the US plate.... Wa has a 5 character plate which is as wide but not as deep (the closet wa type to US spec) but i think Qld has a plate that is spot on US spec in size.... go for one of those.... although i cant promise it wont look a little goofy....

would rather mod these 1s if its not 2 much hassle any ideas

In My opinion it would be a bit expensive to modify these and be re - chromed too. I'd hang these on the wall in your bar or wherever with those novilty plates you can get from the markets . If you want to have something similar remade out of plastic to size PM me.

lol i already have them hanging in my shed,i u lok close the chev badges are machined so that have a gd look in the light thats what i like about them could u get this sam affect with plastic or i could cut these up and send them to u and u could ad them to plastic surrounders if possible......how much
