Has anyone had trouble with blowing drivesharfts cvs at the drags. Done 2 in 2weeks passanger side clossest to the diff, sharft span in the cv joint.

after i got my head and cam package plus tex clutch. went to wsid first run done the damage passanger side shaft making like a tapping, clunking noise. lasted two weeks after that and snapped completly. couldnt drive had to ring tow truck. knocking it from thrid to second gear. $300 after market. $530 from holden.

SS346 uses stock shafts but replaces them every 2 weeks.

pain in the arse to change but unless you got some decent dollars lying around for BMRs or there is a varient made from Porsche 930 cv's (from memory) that are bulletproof.
I've done 3 now, 2 actually sheared the knuckle. $50 a pair replacement from wreckers.
I'd suggest changing your launch technique, might be leaving too hard or not hard enough to get some spin
