I have new slimlines to install on the VE including the glue for the job.
Is there anything I should take note of that is not in the instructions?
Should I leave them on the car for a while before i drive it?
TIA

I just test fitted the weathershields in the position up against the window and put the little metal clips in the approx position.
Just make sure it fits hard up( & over) against the black plastic section next to the mirror on each side and they should then follow the shape of the door. ( Slightly adjust as required to get it at the the preferred angle)
Clean with the stuff supplied, remove the tape a bit at a time and adjust the clips and push the black plugs on to the clips.
I left it in the sun for a few hours before driving but I don't think that it really matters.
Stuck hard and no problems since fitting.

Stu, James (worknssv) fitted mine the other day for me. Didn't take long at all but I'm sure he said the instructions said to leave it for 3 hours before driving. The way things turned out I left it till next day and it was fine. I didn't want to have to put one on but the amount of buffeting with the window open in the ute left me no choice and in reality you can hardly notice them on the car.

Yep, bloody annoying. The slimline weathershields are almost invisible and work well.

Of course!! :D (Only have the driver's one on for now, though the other will probably go on sooner or later.)
