Hi All,
Doe's anyone have instructions on how to fit a maloo tailgate insert?
Eg size of cut out , fitting of inner shell etc.

why don't you just get the whole tailgate ? surely would be much easier :\

This is the way they made (standard tailgate then HSV fitted insert)

I thought the Maloo tailgate was unique in that it's made of SMC (basically plastic I guess) to save weight

By his question I believe he is talking VU-VZ models.
Your post relates to VE Maloo.

Nope.
According to HSV themselves, you purchase a standard Holden ute endgate, then obtain the fitting instructions from the service department's SIP program.

Every single bit of information that we use, and many on this forum think should be handed over for love, costs us an absolute fortune in monthly fees. Someone has to pay you know...:teach:

I've checked with a very good friend & said only dealer have access to SIP & are reluctant to give out info.
If any 1 has info I'am willing to reimburse them for the trouble.
