most of the forum sponsors have cam packages, give one of them a call.

Most seem to be around the 3-4 grand mark for the complete package

you could get away with just doing cam if its mild upgrade, but better off going cam and springs package. dont really need any other parts, reuse your gaskets.

may need a stall convertor if auto depending on what your cam choice is.

I've heard that LS1 springs are fairly crap, so if you do a cam you're best bet is to do the springs too. I don't think it's worth wasting your money to just get a mild cam.

I'd forget about picking and choosing parts for a custom cam job if I were you, just go to a reputable mechanic and get a package, that will have everything you need.

A Hi-stall is really essential if you're getting higher stage cam (power range starting at 2500rpm), but i personally wouldn't want a highstall on your everyday ride. The car won't cruse at low rpm as well, and your economy will suffer.

Check the sponsors section, there are plenty of specials to be found.. GM Motorsport have a cam special for $2990 supplied and fitted.

Use the search, there as so many cam threads it's not funny.

For prices, check with a forum sponsor near you. They will be able to give you what you need.
