Just a quick question for anyone who has had both the above tyres.
Able to get the RE050A"s ( I think) for about the same price as the 452"s.
How would you compare and which would you go for when taking the following into consideration -
- Performance
- Mileage
- Quietness
I was going the get the 452"s until these Bridgstone's came along.
Ive got approx 33k out of the Bridgstones am I likely to get about the same out of the 452"s.
Thanks

performance wise they'll probably be very similar. comfort and noise wise the bridgies will probably be better. if they are the same price i'd get the bridgies.

What price did you get on these tyres? I will be up for a set on my Lumina pretty soon, thanks to Holden not rotating them at the 15k service. If I get them to rotate at the 30k (tomorrow), I should get around 40-45k out of the original RE050s.

If you have a good allignment and rotate the bridgeys they should be ok, they dont wear well on all cars I service at work. Theyre an awesome tyre, very soft. A lot like Yokohama advans.
I'm running the Falkens atm and I'm happy with them, performance wise and they wear very well.
Get the bridgeys if you can get them at a good price..

Decided to go with the RE050A"s once again as I dont think you can get around 30K - 35K from the Falkens.
From what a few people have said the Bridgstones still have the edge over the Falken 452'S.
Everyone has there favourites but in about 6-8 months when I need new tyres again I will try the Falkens.
Interesting that Bridgstone has recently dropped there prices by about $100 on the 18" tyres.
