XSNRGY

Finally dynoed XSNRGY. 491RWHP / 2300NM. Not too bad considering it was a test run before fitting the new CNC heads or actually tuning it. I might even dial in the cam when I do the heads too.:)

Nice power figure :goodjob: But 2300NM  is that a joke. What is it like a 12L turbo diesel??

Got a photo of your engine bay? What manifold did you use with your M112? I've got a cherry M122H and plans to plant it on an L98 so any info would be appreciated. And what was your actual torque reading? (not that there's anything wrong with having 2300Nm :))

Could be a typing error there.
Nice power figure though.
Put up some pics and a bit more info .
cheers

2300Nm prolly refers to tractive force, not the actual engine torque being measured at the wheels
:goodjob: with the power reading, what's she got?

No typo, you multiply the torque - 625nm x the diff ratio - 3.73 and get ATW figure of 2331.25nm. Simple really!
The manifold is what you get with the blower from CAPA so I have no idea what it is except its not a PWR one.
Wish I could post pics but if you go on photobucket and enter XSNRGY you will find all you need to know, and more.:)

2900Nm??? :1peek: Gotta agree that it sounds a bit much. TLX has a 6.8L with forged internals and a HTV blower. Makes around 440rwkw's and 1300ishNm... I guess he must have overlooked something...
So basically if I upgrade my diff ratio, I can increase my rear wheel torque? Sounds like I might have found my next mod...:jester:

Dont give it too much torque or it might get Beached........................Bro :)
2300Nm is a function of an incorrectly setup dyno, no more, no less. Go back and get them to do it right

Yeah I thought it sounded high too, I was told it should be in the 1400 area but I was also told to multiply the torque reading by the diff ratio and if my calculator is working ok then thats what it is?

I'd expect that from a Turdbo installer but if you want to be schooled on the basics then lets call it 625nm just for you to be happy.

I think a simple mention of a hub dyno being used would of explained the number, quite normal. Divide that 2300 by the average tyre to roller ratio of about 3:1 and you've got a torque number that is what appears "normal" to roller dyno's.

Yep I always forget the important things, doh! but who cares.........it shreds tyres like nobodies buisness now and I need to roll the guards to get some traction but there seems to be a shortage of panelbeaters to do it over here....waiting, waiting.:1peek:

Yeah, turn the lights off as usual.
Come on over to QLD AND GET SOME SUN AND BETTER TUNERS and panelbeaters
Cheers

Come back with a Timecard XX.XX @ XXX.XX mph...........
Doesnt matter what you install then, but im tipping the first XX will be 13.X :)

If he can drive it i am sure a head/cam combo running a M112 with decent tyres would run much better then a 13.xx

Mate...... a time card!! Please, I'm having trouble finding a decent panel beater let alone a strip closer than a four hour drive from home.:bawl: and then trying to post pics on here is like driving four hours to the nearest strip! It must be a real pain having all that power of a turbo and only getting full power at the end of the strip too. I'd rather be blown that suked any day.:)

Congrats on the install XSNRGY.
I am not feeling any love here.
Are you backing your mouth with some $$$$'s tuna on a 13.XX pass? (that's between $1,000 and $9,999).

Yea, maybe in a Lada Niva Spec-V.:1peek:
Even a standard Clubby is capable of 13's with the right conditions.:)
