to suit VN-VS....

I would still imagine its cheaper to get a second hand interior unless of course you are getting something different to standard.

it will be something to the effect of standard, ive seen S2VYSS (jase) interior and it very schmick and partner has black in hers and that is practically new. Ive tried looking for secondhand, best i found on ebay was red leather and it was going for $4500. Oh and im looking at defiantly red.

I will be following up the leads early next week and will post up prices quoted to give out a general idea

Here's a direct copy from an email conversation I had with Michael Blackman from Blackman & Sons:

Hi Michael, been doing a bit of research and here's what I'm thinking I would like as an install:

Black leather with silver or grey stitching to match the HSV steering wheel I have (see attached pic). I'd like the leather to be similar to a Caprice in terms of fit (ie gathered or flat, see attached pics) and if possible to have "STATESMAN" embossed in a similar style and location as the HSV vehicles have "SENATOR" or "GRANGE" embossed on the seats (see attached pics).

Does that sound like a do-able situation?

and his reply:

Thanks for the enquiry.
To supply full leather kit for a WK Statesman would be $1650.00
We have a range of 29 colours. Price includes logos, two colours, a choice of perforated inserts , gathered or flat.
Comes with a 4 year warranty

Peter, to supply & fit full leather to your Statesman would be $2200.00 inc

Yes we can do all what you are asking. On your embossing we don't do but can embrioder logos into the leather.

So not really as expensive as you might think, plus they have companies around Oz that will fit their kits in each state. Good quality stuff too.

As far as I am aware Blackmans do most of the conversions on new cars as requested by dealers all around Melbourne. Worknssv had his Astra (that my other daughter drives) done pre delivery by the other Blackman brother who is apparently down on the Peninsula somewhere and it looks great!! (From Bourke's in Berwick). Apparently he is a little cheaper than Moorabbin but same quality.

Blackmans is a pretty big place.. they have a customs area and a new car area.. When you go inside there is basically a heap of brand new cars around the place..

Great Company to Deal with.. There finish is second to none.

Another +1 for Blackmans of Moorabbin. They did the leather interior of my Verada.
