Hey fellas
Just a quick one regarding the 4l60E used in the VS series commodores.
I currently have a muck around car which is a 95 V8 Berlina Wagon.
The tranny is rooted and requires replacement, now My bro has a VS V6 that is a a wrecking car and the transmission in it is in good condition with only 140XXx km on it so a decent amount of life left in it.
I thought that the auto boxes were the same in V6 & V8 but have been told they may be different.
Does any one know for sure if they are the same or different and if they require any modifications to make them fit, or at the other end of the spectrum would it just not be worth the effort to convert.
