Hey mate,

I had a CV8 monaro and the same thing happened to me, I would not play with it to much, and take it to a Dealer.

They had to pull my whole dash apart just to get theat clip in. Just my opinion mate.

Hope it all works out.

It's not hard at all, I've had the console out many times.
Unscrew the two screws under the sunglasses pocket (either side of the cig lighter socket)
get under the back edge of the lower console (around the power window switches) and pry it up gently. This pulls up and back to reveal two screws either side of the sunglasses pocket. Undo them, and you can pull the pocket out to fix it.

2 clips and 4 screws - it's a snap.

THANKS very much mate :goodjob: rear end of console was a bit tight (clips)
got it all out OK found the little end on arm on the door was broken and clip was missing all together ,must have dropped down under the shifter part so i took the door assembly out of the back console they are both the same fixed the front UP will get a door for the back as it is very easy to pull apart AFTER YOU take the cover plate of from the top
AGAIN THANKS
