Hey guys,
I've gone over my service interval by about 1300ks now (went to book it in during my holidays but they were totally booked out for the full 2 weeks!!) and now have NFI when I can get it serviced for another 3 months till the next holidays. I don't want to void the warranty or anything like that.

Or is there not a forum sponsor out your neck of the woods? Your ride will get the service it deserves and your warranty will be sweet as.

It is definitely not a good idea to exceed a service interval by 3 months plus 1300km. The engine oil will be thickening up nicely after that time/distance.
If you can't get to the dealer, at least get a workshop to service it and stamp the book.

Yeah I forgot to mention I live 160ks away from a dealer so it's impossible to get there (but thinking about chucking a sickie..."I have gastro boss!!").
There are some local VERY backyard mechanics here...thinking about just getting the oil changed now. Hmm They can't stuff that up can they??

You yourself could change the oil just as well probably, but if you don't either have a stamped book or a proper invoice at least for the work performed, you risk warranty rejection in certain circumstances.
