open up a photobucket account and put links up here
if u dont have 10 technical posts up then they wont appear but others that do will put the links up and they will work.
pretty helpful most are so someone will do it
probably whole bunch of technical stuff in the FAQ and i could have said it better...but u get the gist?
but in all seriousness do take the time to read the FAQ
alot of ur questions about what to do and how will be answered, reduce posting silly threads that will get closed and end up in a ban for u, etc etc.
but biggest tip...USE THE SEARCH BUTTON before u go on posting new threads.
most of the time its already been covered...
this place is a awesome resource if u take the time to look and can weed the crap from the good stuff
good luck, have fun and enjoying spending ur hard earned on the car on things u never thought of thanks to this forum :D

The bottom of the S in the logo should be fatter than the top. If it's upside down then buy a new one and fix it. They're easy to put on as they come with a full template and you can not go wrong. Lay off the bourbons untill it's on and it's done ;)
PS: whichever bonehead put it on upside down should be kept well away from similar tasks in the future ! or go and help his ford driving mates lol

I know hey!tell me about it! I bought it like that iv'e only had it for a month and just noticed it the other day. How the hell can you put something on upside down like that. It must be have been the Holden factory because the previous owner was a women and i doubt it that she would have pull it off and stuck it upside down!!

Since you've mentioned it, I'd be having a closer look at the area around the badge. It may have had a hit and been repaired by an illiterate or careless panel beater ..... If the badge is any indication I'd be closely inspecting the whole job. Just a thought.

I see them around all the time, mainly VY/VZ, 90% of the time upside down OR on some weird angle that makes em look silly. Disgruntled Holden worker, previous bingle, friday shift.... who knows.
Even funnier when you spy them on earlier models put on wrong by the owner

There's a guy i know getting around here with a bog stock V6 VY acclaim.
Had it for about 8 months then it magicaly appears with SS door badges
Claims that it came with it when he bought it.
Funniest thing is they're straight up and down and they look soo out of place because they're set to far back towards the wheel arch.
They're also series 2 chrome so they stand out even more
Ill see if i can sneak i pic in soon

Actually i wasnt giving him the finger it was aimed at the whole idea of not being able to post pics. Wasnt at all aimed at Macca or whoever you think i did it to. If there was a more suitable icon i would have used that. Now that ive got all the facts on posting up pics it wont be a problem in the future. Yeh you were right i got "Macca" and "C4B" mixed up sorry bout that. But i think iv'e been on here longer than 5 mins.:)
