View Full Version : No reverse lights

Hey people

I dont have any reverse lights in the vx calais. Checked the wire at the back of the plug going into the reverse lights with a test light and its not getting any power.

Where should i start looking to fix the problem

where do i find the fuse for it. checked both fuse boxes and couldnt find the one. where is the selector switch

theres only the two boxs, just check every fuse to see if any are blown, a test light is easier to check with if you have one. im not sure where bout the selector switch is, if there is one, maybe the computer does it all, someone will be able to confirm tho. is yours a man or auto

I would have thought it'd be the fuse box under the steering column. It might be on the same fuse as the rear license plate light.
The Switch is under the centre console, under the gear selector, near where the shifter will be when it's in reverse.

It could be a problem with gremlins too. Perhaps apply some anti-gremlin spray?

lmao the shop sold out of it. i have stripped the console and there is 3 different plugs but it got too dark to check them

had the car up on ramps. is it the white plug on the side of the box that i check
