Went to a private track day at Wakefield on Friday, I elected to go the cheap option and bought a set of Bendix SRT (street Road track) to help combat brake fad. Bought Front and Rear for under $450.
Never been to Wakefield and haven't really done the circuit thing, but still managed to rip out 4 laps in a row at 1.13. Admittedly the were beginning to do funny things (fade a little) after 6 solid laps. But time didn't change to much. And when you get back to the pits you don't need a bbq, the discs were quite warm.
I think they were a good option, at 10% cost of big brakes. Have removed them again now as I think they would make keeping your wheels clean a pain, still have 3/4 of pad after doing over 70 laps at Wakefield.
