You need to be validated to post photos. Just goto www.photobucket.com and create a free account and upload as many photos to there as you want. Then just use the links it gives you and post those into your posts.

No you dont - anyone can post a pic. Validation gets you an avatar.. and the chance to be cool like me :)

Pagey you will never be as cool as you want to be so quit while ya not too far behind :stick:
To the OP, there are a couple of reasons for the 10 posts limit:
Stop Spam accounts signing up and posting links in their first posts
Secondly it makes people contribute to the forum before they get the additional benefit/functionality. Its like the Validation System, the more effort you put into the forum, the more functionality is granted.
Also you may want to check where you post threads, the Tar Pit is not the most relevant place to ask question/get feedback, assistance, etc. Thats why we have the "Forum Help & Feedback" section, that is where posts like this belong ;)

Looking at the map, it appears that you are off the coast of Perth. Seems rather simple to get to the mainland for a activity (ie Cruise) and get to know some people.
You are far closer than some of us. :D
