I would not even try to do a touch up on shadow-chrome, I reckon you would have to replace the wheel or take the wheel to a proper wheel repair place and get it done properly otherwise it would stand out and look worse than it looks now.

mate,
do not try to do touch up-these wheels will need to repainted properly to get it right..
anything else will not be up to standard.
I am speaking for experience as well...
as I wasted time & money trying to touch up my rims, and the end result was a disaster.
So paid and got them re-painted properly...
BTW-you should be washing the car yourself

I would be more worried about the scratching of your car from those auto washers.
Buy another wheel and keep the scratched one as a spare.

I might just get them sprayed silver not into shadow chrome.

a just reward for laziness!
i didn't think anyone would be silly enough to put a car through which they gave 2 shits about.

What you probably need to do (for a proper repair) is take all five wheels to a mag wheels repair shop and they can do them all. I had mine done in darker shadow chrome when I damaged a wheel and was told that they needed all of the wheels in order to match the colour just right. You could do just one but there is the risk it will look different from the others.
Tempe Tyres $150 to repair and repaint in Shadow Chrome.
I doubt if you will find a cheaper price quality repair and repaint.
I have used them in the past.
I called them for a mate who has a VE GTS and let his wife drive the car :soap:

I can get them done at my mates spray shop 50 each I only took it to the car wash cause I work night shift and the job site is covered in mud and the car wash dus a under carrige wash but it had 2 metal pole running along side the wheels with a 20mm gap either side.

thats a good price for shadow chrome repair...
i think what the boyz are trying to say is to avoid those do-it your self carwash centres that are located in Gas stations etc...
nevertheless once you get them repaired you will be happier
as i mentioned i got all four rims re-sprayed for the GTS, the guy was kind enough let me roll in VE clubby rims for a week--(before X'mas).
good luck
