Hi All,

Im hoping someone can help me out,
Ive just installed 90% of the HBD Sat Nav kit that i took from a mates written of VY (its the VDO Dayton MS 5000 unit)

The installation was easy enough until it came to mounting the Computer.
Being that the car i took the kit out was a Sedan i have all the sedan brackets, with my car being a VZ Monaro it has the petrol tank in the boot and these brackets wont fit.

Does anyone have any pics of how the computer is mounted in the boot or part numbers for the vz coupe mounting brackets?

Any help is great!

Cheers

All of the factory install pics ive seen have used that bracket. Except for one wagon install where it was mounted on its side. Apparently its possible after its been modified. I assume to re angle the gyro within the unit so its horizontal when mounted.

And those brackets are no longer available, so if you want to off load it hint hint.

Yea, ive even gone as far as to look up all the VZs on carsales but none have a pic of their boot with GPS. its a bit annoying as everything else is done and i dont know where i should stick the computer!

If it turns out i dont use the brackets ill let you know.

Cheers

the brackets wouldn't be hard to make at all. I have a set i could get measurements off and fabricate.
