stoner won another one back on top now..
good race a number of lead changes, 5 different bikes in the lead most of the time until the last 10 laps, Kawasaki even lead for a short time, quite a bit of overtaking going on, Chris had the lead for a short time also but dropped off after going on slicks.

Yeah it was a brilliant race. Really enjoyed it. Props to Casey, great ride. The wet and changing conditions definately make for exciting races in both MotoGP and Formula 1.

Top race. I was jumping up and down on the couch! Stoner is without doubt a true champ. The Duc didn't look easy to ride either. Just look at Poor Hayden - shithouse.

yeah Fox mentioned that no one else can ride the Duc because it was built to suit Stoner and he's the only one that can ride it well.
they also mention the lorenzo has built a wall between himself and rossi so he can't see what he's doing. he got a bad start from 1st, stoner wasn't much better. Stoner left it a little long to go to slicks came in at the same time as the others but he was dropping back well before that, should have gone earlier than the others as soon as he was loosing time may have increased the lead he got at the end after dropping back to 5 or 6th before that.
better on Fox this time because they started and finished all bikes before channel 10 even started to broadcast.

He wouldnt of wanted to go much earlier to the bike with slicks cos he went soft slicks they showed his rear after the race and it wasnt looking to good probably wouldnt of wanted to do too many more laps.

How bloody quick was Stoner after the tyre change! On cold slicks no less - he just rode past Rossi. IMO this shows his talent. Interestingly, his style seems very similar to Rossi's.
MOTOGP is easily the best motorsport out there at present.

What a fantastic race.Different leaders on different machines, some stronger in certain conditions than others. Its great to watch.I wish the people who run car racing in this country had the foresight to see that not every vehicle has to be exactly the same to be competitive and make the racing interesting.

if motogp and v8sc were on at the same time, its motogp for me more exciting to watch. especially this year.
i've not watched a whole v8sc race yet this year, watch a few laps each race is about it. and that saying something from a long term car racing fan, would never miss a minute before v8sc's came about, don't like this identical mechanical format racing. imports stuffed it not really most tracks were standing room only, i just compared the cars i was following ignored the rest, EG was holden or ford first of those makes. F1 well not sure yet that cornering thing on some cars and not others is stuffing up overtaking moves of faster lapping cars this year, need more overtaking which was what is was suppose to do but isn't, take it away would be better.
motogp is about the best atm

So with you on that one.. shame the Aussie media does not get behind him
as much as they should.. Such an elite on the edge sport. Chris.V was right up there, another great Aussie talent.

best race ever tonight! spoiler if you don't have foxtel, channel ten is late again..
last lap with 5 lead changes between lorenzo and rossi, rossi somehow getting by on the very last corner, who knows how should have been impossible. all the moves so close.
poor stoner was with them for a while but was sick and dropped off after about 8 laps, still got 3rd.. being sick and the 40 odd deg's he couldn't even stand after the race.
all three on 106 points now
what a last lap very exciting stuff....

Must agree it was one of the best races in a long time and certainly one of the best last laps ever.
Casey looked terrable at the end, i wasnt expecting him to make it to the podium and when he was there he looked like he was going to pass out, poor fella.
