As a back story to the ute I am the second owner and have had it since August '05, when purchased it had 65,000 on the clock. When purchased it had the exhaust, intake and pedders suspension. Since then the rest has been done by myself.


Model: VY SS Nov 2002

Km's: 120, 000

Engine:LS1, Chipmaster MAF Mail Order Tune, K&N pod air filter/ Kostecki intake. Made 222rwkw.

Exhaust: DiFillipo 1 7/8" 4 into 1's into a twin 3" DiFillipo System

Gearbox: Auto

Diff: Fully rebuilt under warranty at 90k. Had Pro Auto replace standard ratios with 3.46's at about 100k.

Brakes: Slotted rotors, Bendix pads. Both less than 10k old.

Suspension: Pedders shocks, Camber Kit, Dobinson Ultra Lows on rear.

Wheels/Tyres: 20" Zinik Shoguns. Toyo Proxes 225/35/20 on front. New 245/30/20's on rear.

Interior: Red/ Black cloth.

Stereo: Alpine DVA-9861 HU, Soundstream xsc90 splits, Audison SRx2 amp

Extras: Hardcover from Adelaide Ute Accessories, tow hitch, Chev Grill, Series 2 Tail lights, Dumper tips, Custom tint. Also have the Holden grill and Series 1 tail lights as spares.

Service History: Full service history by either dealers, Pro Auto or WA Performance.

-Just had 120k service and new link pin bushes at WA Perf.
-Rear window re-tinted without logo at Current Trendz
-6 months rego just put on.
-2 new tyres

Given the exhaust/ transmission combo I think this ute has got potential to be a pretty solid drag strip warrior. I've always wanted to go down this path myself and probably will do if i keep it.

The ute currently has a dented tailgate (someone hit me in the car park) and is booked in for the 16th of this month to be repaired.
