HSV Club Day. DECA - My VZ Maloo R8

HI All.
I went to Shep for a skid pan day at DECA with Curtis and WB.

Ive been looking to do something like this for some time as the street is no place for these activities.

It was a cold and wet sunday at Deca. The HSV club Members were friendly and enthusiastic about us being there. Lots of hot cars and utes. There was a lot of rain so it was tricky to get the power down. Curt a I shot some video.

LOL We all got 2-3 mins on the skidpan for the expression session.We had one shot at it, so I did my best.. :)

The Silver SSV certainly sounded strong.

Lunch time laps on Sat. at Winton was fun aswell. Unfortuneatly my clutch was not co-operating on Sunday but still had a great time.
Great cars you guys Luke's sounds tough as and i got some footage of you in the expression session. Curtis your car is a complete package mate. well done:goodjob::goodjob:

Yeah happy with third in the VB challenge. Beat my brother (Silver SS) in the quarter final.Good to beat the fords and the ORSUM taxis. Ha Ha .
Didnt worry about any other times as the main aim was to have fun.
Do it again for sure . I spoke to Justin about next time having some different circuits setups. He said he was open to change. So next time i might have some more input.

yeah was top day even with some rain, glad you and curtis could make it, the drive up wasnt too bad either, Luke your a member anyway but the HSV guys were happy to have the other cars like curtis , david and shaun etc there, as long as its a holden they were behind you 100 % esp in the "VB" challenge now its going to take me the next week to get the poor GTO clean again after the skid pan, probably be its last time as the MANTA will be ready soon!!! :goodjob:

You had the GTO on the skid pan?!!---I'd like to see that.
Did you use any of John Harvey's "tips" that he would have given you the other night (hope you didn't scare him too much!), to improve your skills?
And wayne, we'll be cleaning our GTO's together...just got back from a w/e in Mildura with the HDTOC (SA), & our GTO's filthy too!

Ha yeah, good fun that.. The skid pan has areas that were really slippery and others areas that gripped a bit which made it interesting..

Have to upload the S4 V8 Audi that was there 4wheel drifting :)

The FG F6 was all over the show on the skid pan..
