that place does great conversions. was on one of those car shows.
demand here, but would be more demand and cheaper if made in RHD already from the factory

A lot more cash will be required to buy an aftermarket conversion than what it would have cost to buy a RHD version from the factory. And there is less cash going around these days.

Yeah, mute point......however, even in a downturn people will still reward themselves.
It's been proven before, and I'm sure Performax International in Queensland have done their homework and have enough interest from potential buyers to make it viable.

well it was always going to be the case to get one of these on australian roads, performax just beat everyone to it,could get one imported right hand drive yourselves if you do your homework, only downside to that is you dont get warranty and you would have to get a blue slip for it,not a big deal.
congrta to performax on getting a heap of left hand drives in and doin a mass conversion
im sure they will suck alot of money out of some poor suckers

This will not be a factory backed car from GM , so expect to pay DOUBLE the price ,if it was imported by Holden.
There is a big difference between low volume, private imports and the factory backed product :vpo:

$100,000?......IMHO there is absolutely no way it will be anywhere near that price.....$150,000+ is where I see it.
And I'd also be questioning that the supercharged LSA motor will go into the Camaro, particularly in the current climate.
Cheers, Pickles.
As long as the conversion is a nice neat job and is QLD compliant. Put me down for one, oh and a t1000 single turbo kit. Bring on 2010.

A guy that is good mates with one of my mates is an engineer for Holden and gets to take home cars every now and again - last week he took home a Camaro, and knowing that my missus is in love with them, they decided to come over to my place for a visit..
It is one very sexy car..
Sitting in it, you are really low to the ground, and the windows are tiny... but its aweome!
The seats remind me of the VE clubsport seats...
