AH Astra Problem

I have a AH Astra that when the clutch is engaged in 1st gear there is a noticeable shudder/vibration that occurs. It is much more noticeable when taking off from a hill.

Does anybody else on here with an AH Astra notice this.

My dealer tells me this is normal.

My AH auto developed this feature about the 40k mark. Taking off smoothly in first there is no problem but if you try to take off moderately hard or start on a hill, the car vibrates almost violently and there is a real grinding sound and the back window vibrates as does the rest of the car. This is all coupled with a drop of power when it starts vibrating until it recovers. It doesn't happen in any other gear except second if going up a really steep hill from a slow start. I asked Holden to check it last time and was given the usual "couldn't replicate the problem / ie didn't take it for a drive". I've got an extended warranty and need to go in the next week or two and if it is covered under that warranty would like to get it sorted. Any ideas guys?
