Hi I am looking at finally lowering the VE SS Sedan (springs only for now as the missus is home looking after the new bubs and the bank accounts...) and just wanted some info off you guys please on whether I should go the SPorts Comfort or Sports Ryder springs. I also have 20"s on the car.
I want to lower the car about 25mm to 30mm. Will the Sports Comfort or Sports Ryder lower it the same?
I dont want to change the ride too much from standard anymore. I think Im getting old and dont want to feel every pebble on the road but also dont want too much roll. So I dont want anything softer than the FE2 springs.
Which would be the best option please?

Pedders have two set of coils for the VE both are Sports Ryders (We do not have Touring coils fr them). One set will give approx FE2 height and the other lower again. They all retail at $179.00 a pair.
I don't believe that there will be a huge height change from the SS to FE2 though it may be a better option than the lower coils.
-The car will be transporting a bub and "she who must be obeyed"!!!
-Having the standard shocks will make the ride better but it won't be control the suspension as well.
-You will more have suspension travel to smooth out the ride which will already be a little harsher due to the lower profile tyre you will be running on the 20's.
-This would be made even more evident with the lower coils and standard shocks as a better shock control rate is needed to control the suspension properly.
Have a chat to your local Pedders guys when you are ready to go.
It would be a wise move to let them check your top mounts as they do tend to make a few noises when they get older. While the front legs are out is the perfect time to change them to our H/Duty rubber ones. They have to come off when the coils are changed so there is no additional labour charges just the price of the mounts.
Hope this helps.
