Why not contact Oztrack (forum sponsor) for a mail order mafless tune, many happy customers on the forum.
I'm about to fit a Dus intake and get a mafless tune from steve at Oztrack.

Not a problem, but something you need to do. You have to cut the IAT sensor wires from the MAF meter and extend them down in to the scoop of the OTR and use a VY IAT sensor. This is no issue as DUS supplies the wire and IAT with the kit, at least he did back when I bought mine. Also you will probably need to run a new breather tube into it and tap in a nipple of some description. You can see how I did mine in my picture.
They are a fantastic unit, they look great, perform well and fit properly. I have had a lot of comments from people who have seen mine saying how good they look. I bought mine along with a Mailorder Mafless Tune from Oztrack when the Christmas special was on. I couldn't be happier :D

Quick Q,
I am looking to do almost the same as what you have done (OZtrack mailorder but with an Orrsom OTR) on my VZ (ls1). I am guessing I will have to do the same with the IAT sensor. Is this very hard to convert to the VY IAT? I have minimal at best experiance doing this kind of thing.
If I have to I am sure a shop could do it for me.

Nup its easy as! You grab the plug that goes into the MAF meter and I think its the brown and green with brown stripe wires, but check this with someone else first. Cut them off and join to the IAT wires. If you can join two speaker wires together you can do this mod...
I am not familiar with how the ORRSOM OTR is setup but you still will need to add the VY IAT if your running mafless....

Fitted mine to a VY last friday, very happy with the unit! As stated before, I did have to extend the harness for the IAT sensor, we used heat shrink and stuff to make it look more OEM, but not really required). Also I lifted my bonnet just slightly as not to scratch the top of the DUS, but I am probably being a little over cautious...

I just did one today with Duspeed OTR , it was a VZ 297 , it made 292.9rwkw with the LS2 cam.
I tried different situations near the end. bonnet up, bonnet shut, filter in and out. The variation in all those situations was no more than 3rwkw. This is where Dus's excell. With the bonnet shut and filter in they lose next to nothing.

would a otr and a mailorder be ok.. or would i be better off with a otr and i guess "custom" tune??
considering i would prob be getting an exhaust soon after, if not at the same time..

From a stock ls2 motor ? Find a lil hard to beleive.

Fitted my duz with oztrack mafless tune about a week ago and am loving the intake noise when you open it up and power delivery is much smoother than it was previous.
Added bonus is the my fuel economy overall has improved slightly and that is with some spirited driving .

In a round about way I was going to ask the same thing.
Steve, thats seems like very good results for a VZ 297. Did it have other mods?. If so, what were they?. If my VZ can pull 292 with just a tune and a DUS, Im going there!.

It had a top level exhaust, cats and big long 4 into 1s, Dus intake and Mafless Tune. We are seeing in the 280s regularly from L98 VEs with all the same mods. The VZ 297 has a better cam, but inferior flowing heads BUT they do have 10.9:1 comp. Cammed LS1s usually make in the 280s from the same mods!! 255 is our record from a stock cammed LS1 with the same level of mods, so there is some serious difference in the LS2
Lincoln give me a call and we can work out what suits you best.

Thanks Steve, thats some great feedback.
Out of interest (and sorry thats its not directly related to the thread) - but would you happen to actually know the specs of the stock LS2 cam?

Why..... Tuna got 300 rwkw out of an unopened one with all the bolt ons. Not every one will do this and I guess it's the same as ls1's every now and then 1 makes 10 KW more than the rest in the same circumstances. Maybe his air pressures in his tyres were optimum for the day or the LSD had better oil in it who knows.
Don't get to hung up on dyno figures though a 20 rwkw difference in the top end if it isn't repeated across the rev range just means that car can put a number up not that it really has more useable power. I still havn't dynoed mine after the cam and Duspeed OTR install and don't really care what it makes on the rollers.
The Dus OTR is a very good bit of gear and Steve does a very good tune to go with em and like the OP there is a lot of happy campers around to prove it.
cheers
