Hey All

Just after a bit of help.. One of my mates logged my car with EFILive last night and when we had a look at the log we noticed that my oxygen sensor voltages were completly different! One was consistantly reading 0.49-0.43Volts and the other was reading anywhere between 0.8-0.0 Volts!

Could this indicate that one of my sensors (the one that has a more consistant reading) is stuffed? I have read that the voltage shold osilate as the AFR goes from lean to rich?

Could someone help me out please?

Cheers

Matt

It would be better to check at the source..

With a multimeter set to millivolts and the engine up to running temp. Unplug LH O2 sensor and meter between the "A" and B" terminal (if heated O2, between "A" and "C".. "A" = left hand side with lock tab down looking at the terminals) With the engine idling the reading should rapidly change from 300 - 600 milli volts. Follow procedure for the RH side. If they fail, remove and see if there's any contaminants on the sensor or of course replace if required.

Do the oxygen sensors on the LS1 give a constant voltage when in open loop (before they are heated?) Given that EFIlive measured one oxygen sensor to not deviate in voltage you would think that it would be stuffed? Basically the same as the test you described above...

Thanks for your help mate, I will pull them out this weekend to have a look. Do you recomend any oxygen sensor in particular as replacement? Bosh, standard GM one?

Cheers
