I'm looking at picking up a set of 18*8's for track days.

I'm wondering if anybody knows of this brand and whether there have been any problems?

Real B.Boss are good. Friend has them on his VT no issues. But there are many copies of B.Boss to watch out for.

Mate I have a set of 19" Eleanors on my VX SS.

Quality is of great standard and they make great looking wheels that stand out and look classy.

Bob Jane are sellers of the B-BOSS range.

the ones I'm getting have already been sprayed with a gloss black. they still look great though.

Which ones did you go for? They are pretty heavy as are "most" aftermarket mag wheels. You might be better off getting a lighter set for track days?

Please post pics of them painted in black.......I might be swayed by the look :1peek:

I've got a set of black eleanor on my VE ute. Haven't had any dramas and they only cost around $200 per rim from memory

Ive got a set of 19inch Maddison's fitted - no problems, respectable quality but as mentioned above they are HEAVY !!!

also as mentioned, be aware of imitations and cheap china-spec copies.....

Heavy I'm not so worried about. they are definitely going to be lighter than the 20" alloys i've been using. those things weigh as much as the car ! :P they come in at 10.6kg each, so yeah compared with a set of BBS or OZ racing they are heavy. but I'd also be paying another $3,000 for them..

at the end of the day i'm trying to do this as cheaply as possible without sacrificing too much in the way of quality parts..

And I can also get my grubby lil hands on second hand slicks from a V8 supercar team >:D I love my :bow: boss :bow:

I've checked whether they're genuine. everything looks legit. has the brand embossed.. stamped into the rim. (and i spoke with the guy (Daniel). nice guy. called me 6minutes after I purchased them too).
