nice mate, pretty interested in it. but i need to make sure it wont blow my sub..dont really know much about amps, my sub is underneath my tray on the ute so i cant find out what it is, the amp that was in there before was a kicker kx400.1 which is the specs i put up. if the equal that..sure thing we'll sort something out

that amp will be fine mate, i used to do installs, most subs these days will handle from 350rms upwards, the sony will put out 250rms bridged, if u r worried just turn the gain right down on the amp when you install and gradually turn it up till you are happy with the bass. i dont usually have full gain on any amp so just under eg 3/4 gain for max effiency and tweak the + or - on the db and same with hz eg 40hz for low bass or 80
+ for punchier.
