might be easier/quicker/cheaper to buy an L76 and change the heads

Thanks....

Nah got an email from Mick this morning.
sorry sold the last one 2 weeks ago!!
Reg mick,

Eagle Auto have 3 on the shelf and they are 10 minutes from me. Woohoo !!

Is $4950 a reasonable price or should I shop around further ??

Thanks guys...

***EDIT***

Shit your good. :goodjob: thanks mate, your a champ...

Do you mean Holmart has some ??

*****EDIT*****

Holmart may very well have some actually. I just re-read the email I sent and I think he may have interpreted it as I wanted a replacement LS1 crate engine not an L98. My bad....

Hi just wondering if you have any crate motors available to replace an LS1 in my VY SS II ??

I wasn't very specific....

this is great buying! just get one of these and put a nice 220/220 112 can or leave it stock and save for a 122 supercharger later! both will give you awesome power wile staying very stock! grab one now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys. A 10k old LS3 found me today for a good price so I am also looking into that route.

LS3 crate = $8000
LS3 10k km = $5000

L98 crate = $4950 from once supplier
L98 crate = $6490 from another.
Both VZ style.... I rang them both and the engines seem identical and I can't figure out why one is so much dearer than the other.

I am leaning towards the 2nd hand LS3 but would also like others opinions if possible.

as long as the ls3 is a goer and you can here it run I would take the 2nd hand ls3.
