hey guys n girls

names ryan but everyone calls me dukez so u can too :)
im a long time lurker but havent ever bothered to sign up due to my laziness lol been around the car seen for a fair while since i was 17 and im 25 now...used to be a member of the old ccc forum in melbourne till it went down down down and am still somewhat active on vicstreetscene which some of u may have heard of....i also run with a few mates a car club called melbcitycruisers but have been somewat less frequent lately due to my son being born mid june.

im a mechanic by trade and work in a 2 man operation in knox area which does subarus...pays the bills but my passion is and always has been holdens and ls1's... i own a 2000 VX SS auto black with leather and a sunroof only lightly modded but does what i want as im not out to set land speed records in it but she is my pride and joy..the mods i have done are custom mafless tune by jsb 4inch yellaterra silicone intake k&n air filter 2 hole mod on airbox and monaro cai behinfd the headlight and 2.5inch stainless cat back xforce exhaust..

future mods are otr and some headers at some stage....ootherwise im pretty happy with it havent got a 1/4 pass since it ran a 14.5 stock but im guessing around 13.5ish at a guess

sweet ride bloke. Trouble with mods is there is always something more you can do and knowing when to stop is the problem. Looks like you seem happy with what you have. Not me, the grass is always greener.

hahaha yer the grass is always greener correct but finacial constraints dont really allow it to go much further at the moment

so i fitted some pac 1218's to my ss tonite took a couple of hours but it will be worth it when the cam goes in in the near future :) thats my latest update :) besides the otr that i fitted a while ago now also

so thought i might do a complete ruundown of the car as it sits right now seeing as most of this thread is pretty vague and poorly punctuated

its a VX 2000 model SS A4
factory leather with sunroof

Current Mods:
Hsv Headers into Xforce Cat back
Fibreglass Otr
Custom Mafless Tune
PAC 1218 .600 lift valve springs
Lowered on Kings with most bushes done
7 inch screen, 6inch hertz splitz, polk 6.5 inch in rear door, and 12 inch sub in boot powered by Alpine V12 amp
Also debadged on the rear

Close Future Mods:
Cam
Re-tune

Future Mods
New OTR
New Headers and Cat's

it produces about 224rwkw as it sits

hopefully with cam install in the near future it will push the 250ish.....

spoiler is back on...it looks to p plater spec with no spoiler i dunno i might remove it again at some stage....does make it look lots lower with out it :)

so i blew the auto AGAIN thats 2 in 2 years so she has been made stronger and now stalled....put the cam install back till id next year id say but ill get there lol

so latest update is Strengthend 4L60e and 2800 stall convertor.....stall makes a massive difference jsut gotta have the auto tune touched up a little over the next 2 weeks and will be all set

not good dude. i've had a similar thing happen to me at the cazza shops a few years ago though managed to get the details from the other driver on the spot.
but like what the others have said in ur other thread prob would have been best to call the cops on the spot. If you haven't gone already I'd go asap.
